Neighbor Joe

As a hunter, fisherman, birdwatcher, cyclist, skier, and canoeist, I have covered countless miles of Eau Claire county roads, trails, and streams.

I earned a BS and MS from UW Madison. I was on the rowing team for four years (Like Boys in the Boat). I served in the Peace Corps in Tunisia. In 1981, I moved to Eau Claire to join the Leader Telegram.

I’ve been married to retired teacher Bonni Knight for 44 years and we have one daughter, Melody, an international humanitarian aid worker. I'm also a proud grandpa. We have two English Setters.

We moved to Seymour in 2009 and we love it!
